A farewell gift from ex-colleagues! Super cute, love it so much!
This is not the 1st 110 camera I have. Few years ago I brought this Kodak EKTRA 200 camera (below) at a flea market at China Sq. Still in very good condition, tested once but only the coconut tree pix came out properly. The 110 camera doesn't have a flash light, so have to shoot outdoor & on a sunny day.
Some intro on 110 film:
110 is a cartridge-based film format used in still photgraphy. It was introduced by Kodak in 1972. 110 is a miniaturised version of Kodak's earlier, highly successful 126 format. The image is 13mm×17mm with one registration hole.
The film is fully housed in a plastic cartridge, which also registers the image when the film is advanced. There is a continuous backing paper, and the frame number and film type are visible through a window at the rear of the cartridge. The film does not need to be rewound and is very simple to load and unload. It is pre-exposed with frame lines and numbers, a feature intended to make it easier and more efficient for photofinishers to print.
If I didnt remember wrongly, I have used 110 camera (was a Hello Kitty camera) when i was a little girl. Too bad the camera was broke & threw away.
